In the app: Add new group
Groups, teams and roles
Start a group, invite people and choose how much control the owner keeps. Every member gets a team colour and a role.
Mission groupsA group is a shared map. You create one, name it and pick a mode.
Open groups let every member control their own settings. Mission groups give the owner and admins control of members' map and tracking settings. Observe groups keep members hidden until the owner reveals them and they agree.
Inside a group, each member picks a team colour from 14 and a role from eight. Teams make a large operation easier to split up. The owner decides who can add objects to the group map and marks the areas where members share their position.
What you can do
- Pick Open, Mission or Observe when you create a group
- Invite people with a code, a QR code or a link
- Give every member a team colour and one of eight roles
- Choose who can add objects: everyone, selected members, selected teams or admins only
- Set activity areas so members share their position only inside them
- Check which members are missing map objects and send what they lack
- Transfer ownership, pause, stop or archive a group

Mission groups
Run an operation from one map with a Mission group
A Mission group turns a shared map into a command post. You set what every map shows, how members report, who sees whom and who can add to the map. Members join and find it already set up. Open and Observe groups leave these decisions to each member.
When to use a Mission group
- You brief and direct the people in the group, for a search, an event, a survey or a convoy
- Everyone must work from the same base map, overlays and offline area
- Only some people should add to the map, so the picture stays clean
- Teams must stay apart while HQ sees everyone
- The map should show members only inside the operation area
- You want to pause the operation, record it and replay it afterwards
Sharing modes
Two choices decide what reaches the group's map: who can add objects, and whether objects travel by themselves.
- Everyone
- Every member can add objects to the group.
- Admins
- Only the owner and admins can add objects.
- Selected members
- Only the members you pick. You can combine this with selected teams: a member who matches either can share.
- Selected teams
- Any member of a team you pick, including people who join the team later.
- Auto-send on
- New and edited objects go to the group automatically, for a live picture.
- Auto-send off
- Nothing goes out by itself. A member draws an object and presses Send when it is ready.
- Share objects on join
- A member who joins gets the group's existing map objects straight away.
What a Mission group can do
Settings that reach everyone
Choose the base map, overlays, tracking and offline area once. Members get them on joining, and Apply to all members updates people already in the group.
Locked identity fields
Choose which fields members cannot change: callsign, team, role, type, symbol, Display as and team colour. Set each member's values from their row in the team list.
Teams and HQ
Split people into teams with their own colour. The admin team sees everyone. Isolated teams see only their own members and map objects.
Activity areas
Draw the operation area. The map shows only members inside it, and you can hide any member from the map at any time.
Control of what is shared
Decide who can add objects and whether they go out automatically. New members can receive the objects already on the map, and you can send what a member is missing.
Readiness, pause and review
A Mission ready checklist shows what is left to do. Pause and resume the whole mission, record every member at once and replay it afterwards.
